IGPC Launches New Website Offering New Issues of Face Value to the World!

April 1, 2024 (New York, USA) The Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation, fondly known globally as “IGPC” is excited to announce the launch of a newly designed website on the already popular and most visited stamp collectible website globally – www.igpc.com.

IGPC was the first global stamp collecting firm to launch a website in the early 1990’s when the idea of the internet was still foreign to many. IGPC first opened its doors to the worldwide web under the domain name www.igpc.net. While to many it was odd that a global leader in philately would choose a “.net” domain, it stuck and with a tag line: The World’s Largest Philatelic Network.

After acquiring the four letter .com domain of IGPC.com, the far reaching arms of IGPC only grew bigger and stronger. Still, the largest philatelic network continued to expand it’s network reach and offering the worlds most beautifully designed postage stamps to collectors and enthusiasts around the world.

The new igpc.com incorporates the latest enhancements of digital technology with enhanced imagery, search filters and secure ordering features unmatched by anyone in the industry. Some have hailed the new igpc.com as the “Amazon of Philately” with quick and easy access to tens of thousands of officially produced postage stamps from dozens of government postal authorities around the world.

Our new secure order and checkout platform allows for all visitors to easily and securely add individual items to cart, modify quantities, create a ‘Wishlist’ and seamlessly checkout and purchase these unique postage stamps.

A popular feature of “Elite Membership” is once again being offered to all Customers; Dealers and Collectors alike. With Elite Membership, visitors to the new igpc.com can gain access to special pricing, promotions, free global shipping where applicable and several other benefits available exclusively from the new igpc.com.

The staff at IGPC has been working round the clock to enhance the tens of thousands of stamp images listed on the new igpc.com. Using AI technology, available postage stamps from the 1960’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s have been enhanced for easy viewing and download. And with a promise to continue to add additional images over the coming months.

Postage stamps from many nations previously not listed or available before, have been added to the new igpc.com. Specifically, IGPC has added to the new igpc.com a comprehensive list of Israel postage stamps, with high resolution images of these highly sought after postage stamps, previously not made available to the general public. Now is the perfect time to complete your collection of one of the most highly regarded and widely collected countries in the world.

With every new venture, comes the usual bumps in the road. While we have taken steps to extensively test our new site prior to launch, we turn to our friends and colleagues to let us know what features and elements need enhancement. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

The launch of the new igpc.com is credited to the dedicated staff at IGPC, headed by Yossi Malamud and with the support of Sam Malamud, President of IGPC and a member of the global philatelic family for more than 70 years!!

Having viewed the new website, Mr. Sam Malamud proudly stated that, “This new website will open the doors to countless collectors who previously had no idea of the greatness of our amazing hobby. The ease of use, clarity of stamp images with details of their release by the governments around the world, will surely grow our hobby and bring new collectors, both young and old, to the Hobby of Kings.”

Founded in 1957, with offices around the world and headquarters located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, IGPC is the largest and most respected philatelic agency in the world. The first to launch commemorative postage stamp series honoring Disney Characters, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Star Wars, Lunar New Year Characters, Living Legends and so much more, IGPC continues to be the most influential philatelic firm in the industry continuously focusing on expanding the world’s oldest hobby.
